Hello! My name is Paul and I'm an illustrator and conceptual artist based in sunny Scotland. I graduated from Dundee University in 2007 with an Honours Degree in Animation and have spent the last two years working on films, books and videogames. A passionate gamer and somewhat over-enthusiastic drummer, I'm fond of sipping red wine in the summer, scribbling in a sketchbook at every given opportunity and generally enjoying life. Enjoy your visit!

Wow! Just found your work from Sandara's Journal entry! (The cool red dragon xD) and I absolutely love your art style! I have a question. How do you get that beautiful texture that you use in some of your art? I.E. the Red Dragon. Any advice would also help me out!

Yeah I know I have to change my style and go away from anime a bit - okay more than a bit. But I am happy with that cause there will be more difficult pictures then in realistic style.I am looking forward to try new things.
I already saw this style in chester ocampos work. I hope I can improve my abilities to be as good as them (Chester and Jason). BTW his style is really cool. But I have to watch out that I don't start to copy again. Most of the anime freaks said that my style would be very similiar to a very famous style of a mangaka.
At the moment I try to test things myself without copying other drawings as an exercise. I hope this helps to solve this style problem.
and thanks again for your advices! ^__^ they are a great motivation especially the sentence that I have little chances to become what I want! XD
So I try to finish my first potrait over next days . Let's see how it will turn out! I am very excited myself! xD
